Scan2Text 2 reads your mail, books, instruction leaflets back to you

If you have difficulty reading print, this easy to use software will read your post, books, magazines, instruction leaflets and more.
You will need a PC with Microsoft Word, a standard scanner, Scan2Text software and if you can’t see the screen you will need a screenreader such as Thunder.

How does it work?
Put your book or letter onto the scanner bed and close the lid. Go into Microsoft Word “file” menu, arrow down to the “scan” option, and scan2Text will place the document into Microsoft Word as if you had typed it yourself where you can listen to it with your screenreader or you can enlarge it.

Scan2Text has highly accurate scanning as it is Based on the latest award-winning Omnipage OCR software.
You can choose to read down columns for newspapers or across columns for price lists.
You can choose to keep the original format or you can edit the text.
You have options to keep or remove images.
It can Read PDF files and text on other image files such as TIF format.

System requirements
You will need a scanner with a TWAIN or WIA driver interface.
PC with Windows 2000, XP, Vista.
Microsoft Word 2000, XP, 2003, 2007.
200MB free disk space.
Any screenreader such as Thunder if you need speech, or Lightning if you need everything magnified.
